i'm finally home this early! its certainly been a while since i have reached home around 8pm.
michelle's back in good ol singapore at long last! :) welcome homeeeee michelle kwok! haha we MUST meet up okie!
work's been alright, a little tiring and dull but manageable. sometimes i wonder if i can last for the rest of my life working like this. but as many people say, i dont have a choice.
and its tough, you know, when you realize that those around you are supposedly your friends, and actually your competitors. its tough to continually seek how to improve yourself and be better than what people expect you to be. its really.. i dont know. i cant find the words for it. but its mentally exhausting, and emotionally draining. i feel like half of what i am, at times.
anyway, due to mum's prompting, i made my way to uob centre today for a short while after work. retail therapy really helps! bought 3 dresses! :) and they were really reasonable too. grins. i've found my new shopping haunt!
