i'm already through my first (and a half) week of work! i cant believe i've survived thus far. after the very first day i wondered how on earth am i going to last a year more but as i progressed into this wk i began to start to like my job. i think its mostly to do with the friends i'm starting to make.. as well as the settling into the routine. its even getting interesting as i delve into the riches of the English language - and learn to differentiate between american and british english........
alright, i shant bore you with the tedious details. thing is, i really do not want to lose my touch with my vocabulary, being so exposed to the (really) bad and simple english i am to edit at work. i have not exactly been keeping up with my reading of the newspapers because i have been so busy..! gee. i need more timeeeee..!
by the way! i have officially graduated! grins. here are some pictures!

this is after the stage ceremony thing. thankfully i didnt fall, and i am so thankful to those who went and cheered so loudly for me as my name was being read! love you! :)
these are the 3 friends/buddies i found in my major and i'm really thankful for them. the sitting together during lectures, tutorials and lunches.. indeed life was better in nus coz of you guys. and thank you charmaine for specially coming down just to witness our graduation! super touched la :)

goodness.. i must have smiled and laughed till my cheekbones begged for mercy! it was indeed a good time, though there were a few hitches. but i must learn to be content, and count my blessings, rather than to look for things not there.
you're right, what's the use of comparing?
