it has been rather eventful - the past few days.
watched SRT's rendition of Shakespeare's Midsummer Night's Dream at Fort Canning Park last night and it was not too bad for a local production. i have seen better, admittedly! thanks xiang for the tickets! (=
had pleasant company and though everyone (well, almost) came well-stocked with food and goodies to munch on while watching the show, i guess i was content with what i had! (= the family beside us had a full picnic laid out, complete with champagne even! boy, they know how to dine in style indeed. haha.. i decided to hunt for more food, so i went to the catering area and bought lettuce, tomatoes and chicken wings. yummmyyy!
anyway, the show is a tad confusing at the start, but it became more understandable later on - perhaps with the help of the programme which has the synopsis! haha.. ahh well. but it is quite alright, worth going down for the experience. (=
and i went for pei zhi's symphonic band concert this evening at victoria concert hall.. i cant exactly appreciate much of the music, but the performance was still very well done..! rather impressive indeed.
so, that's all for my nightly concert-going.. it was fun while it lasted but its back to reality very soon again. for a moment i felt as if i could be like Evelina. aahh.. the stuff of dreams.
