i got back my new media breaking/meeting news story today, and i was given an A. (85%). this particular assignment comprises 15% of my entire module and actually so far i've been receiving As or Bs for most of the exercises which is 70% in total. the final exam is only 30%. however because i kept handing up assignments late, i'm now quite worried that it will pull down my grade. and somehow, getting an A with no one to share my joy with seems quite meaningless. oh well.
ifyouwerehere,itwillallbesodifferent.butyou'renot,andihavetomoveon.anyway, on the other end of the scale, i've been doing poorly for my contemporary irish poetry module. my test results is either a C or a D grade. sigh. consulted prof patke today, and he was encouraging and perfectly polite. i left his room smiling to myself, almost like an idiot, for worrying. i just hope that now, i will be able to tackle poetry with renewed confidence and understanding. will be getting my irish poetry essay this friday. its all i am counting on to really pull my grade up.
and tomorrow i'll be getting my body lit essay back. ahh.
