two evenings ago, i tuned in on channel 5 to watch Singapore Idol to see for myself just how bad joakim gomez is, after experiencing all the hype about how his kawaii-cute image is all that is keeping him in the final rounds.
and my verdict is: he can sing, but not well? and even paul twohill did a lousier job that night. perhaps its due to the genre of music (soul and r&b) they were given, which generally is not very popular, even in american idol. so i guess when i found out last night that joakim was finally kicked out, for the first time, i had mixed feelings. i guess i suppose that based on wednesday night's performance, it was twohill who deserved to be going home on thursday. ahh well.
i actually
like most of my modules this semester and the literature novels that i have to read for my curriculum are actually quite interesting, so far. (: hope that it'll continue being so for the rest of the semester!
and a photo update at last! (thx huey!) a cell pic of us taken last sat at the playground outside steffy's house. i'm finally as tall as meng! haha almost. grin.
