it has been an interesting 4 days.
met him for lunch at marina's spageddies on friday. we had a good chat and i must say it was the first time in a long while that i've enjoyed the time spent together. i realized many things during out conversation and well, i can only wonder now, can i?
met bj after lunch to go for baybeats.. (which i personally felt was horrendous). heh. huey ying was there and she kindly took a nice picture of us!
and i love it. =)
anyway. saturday was good too! went for dear rachel's 21st bday party and we took alot of pictures
! hehs.
yup! there's alot more pics but i'm too lazy to post them here. anyway i really like those sepia pictures we took, it looks really retro-old-school-like. =) dz won the best retro outfit, without a shade of doubt. haha
sunday came and went.. spent most of it lolling around in aunty ivy's house, watching smallville with xiang, studying with mark, terence, zheng and xiang.. and going to parkway with them too. simple things like this really make me happy, and i feel contented. =) had a good talk during their family dinner about alot of things, and uncle paul and aunty ivy shared and said things that were really meaningful. i cant really remember offhand but i know that the lessons i learnt during that dinner have been stored within my heart. i also had a heart-to-heart talk with aunty ivy after dinner and she shared alot with me about her life experiences. i realize what xiang meant; that you cant possibly ever hide anything from her. i guess i was on the verge of revealing to her something i would never tell anyone.. but xiang came down and joined in our conversation so that moment was broken. i dont know why, but this is the second time it happened; concerning the same topic. the moment i am tempted to open up to someone about it, something happens to turn the whole situation around and i am left to leave it to silence. i guess God's trying to tell me, ..not yet. and thus, how long Lord? 2 yrs has been a long time, and i have no idea how long more it will take. oh well.
monday came. met up with monique for lunch. i cant believe that after 9 years, we still can connect and share our lives with one another. and she's even more of a shopaholic than i am! haha i really really hope to meet up with her more often. =) thanks soo much for the birthday treat at bakerzin my dear friend, and next time its gonna be my turn! and you were right, the warm chocolate cake was fantastic! *droolzz.
additionally, i applied for a booth at Lime! magazine's flea market held at *Scape and i actually got accepted! yay! time to dig out all the things i dont need and want, and pack up my really messy room! grin. 12th august, saturday 1 to 7pm. *excited!
