i am so frustrated. i have been trying to upload pictures for the past hour or so and have not succeeded. oh wells. words shall have to suffice, for now.
anyway. it has been an extremely eventful weekend and sometimes as i look back, i cant believe its gone passed so fast. there are many thank yous to be said, and the gratitude i have in my heart, i hope, will not be easily forgotten through the passage of time.

thank you all for the messages i received saturday early morning, especially xuan who sent the first msg the moment the clock struck 12midnight, even though she was in australia.. i really cant remember all of you who sent, but i thank you so much for remembering. people like, suri, charlene, esther, claudia, evelyn, huey, derek, samuel, serena, evelyn, daniel, shi ying, terence, darren, jingmin, kelvin, kor, rajiv, duane, kevin, canice.. i'm sorry if i might have left anyone out! for dear bj for calling too =) even thanks to kenji for sending me a message on friendster.
hmm.. and thanks to bryan and sam for organizing a mini-cell bday celebration during cell time on sat.. =)

yup. and finally down to the night itself.. i had soo much fun! =) the food was good, the games were great! (especially the ting trivia one--with everyone leaping up and down.) the appreciation-sharing session was touching, and i even re-watched all the speeches made and i cant help but wonder what i have done indeed to deserve such high praise. bj even asked how much i paid you guys who shared! haha..

esther: for the I-O-U and the beautiful letter you wrote for me. thank you so very much and i'm really sorry that i've not repaid your kindness in many ways that i could and should have.
brandon and elaine: for the I-O-U! heh. and brandon for helping me so much with the logistics and stuff. you have been a great help to me in many ways.
leon: for trying to surprise me by sending me a message saying that you cant make it, (which i didnt even get to read coz i was so so busy), and coming even when it was your first book-out after your 3 weeks confinement. it was so great seeing you again! thanks for your lovely card too. =)
mark: ahhhhh!! for the coldplay southeast asian tour cd! hahaha thanks!!
terence, joy and robyn: for the card, the giant pen (which makes my handwriting look sooo ugly! haha) and for the lovely bracelet with my name engraved on it. i like the "happy-birthday" pop-up in the card!

jonk! my dear buddy from china: thanks for the wrapping, i really tried to open the gift without tearing the wrapping at all, and i succeeded! haha.. sorry that i didnt tell you i already had the cd, but you get a free gift! haha..
the wongs: for the tiffany & co bracelet. =)
meng and stef: for the fantastic handmade scrapbook of verses and photos! i simply love it! =) its one of the nicest presents i've ever received. and stef! you look so nice in all those photos and i look so horrible! haha you could have chosen better! fed up.
mich and huey: oh my. how do i even begin. haha thanks for the 4 page letter mich! and for the 21 presents that you two ingeniously came up with. i was so entertained! haha its certainly a gift i would not forget easily. =) and most of all, thanks for brownie! she's happily sleeping in her cage now. thanks for the lovely speeches you two gave too!
felicia: thanks soo much for helping me in organizing this.. and even though mich and you may say that you two didnt do much, you did--through encouraging me and helping me sort out the little details here and there. heh.. also thanks for the lovely heels and i cant wait to use them! thanks also for getting bj to share! heh. i was pleasantly surprised. thanks for the speech you gave as well!

unleavened bread: for coming! haha i'm honored that i got my presents in time haha! i love the white bag, the cute earrings and the blouse! hehs. poor dz had to wait like 6mths till he got his present hahaha. and charlene! thanks for making me that biggg card and getting everyone to write a note in it. thanks also for the speech you gave, together with the poem. =) thank you darren for your sharing as well!
di!: for also trying to surprise me by making me think you are unable to come for my party, and you succeeded in doing so! cant believe you even roped feli in to deceive me. haha.. but thanks! i was happily surprised when stef lured me out and you jumped out from nowhere with that funny mask. also thanks for the lovely and sincere speech you gave, and for the flower! cross-stitch, plus the amazing adidas voucher. ...i still cant believe its amount! haha..
