just came back from camp storm and it was tiring but quite fun... didnt really make many new friends but i guess i did strengthen some friendships. terence and i got to know each other more too i suppose haha. and brandon was at times a fine help to the group. =)
one thing i realized during the camp was that people speak baaaaaaaaaaaadddddd english! haha but it was quite hilarious hearing the kind of sentences they could come up with. like, "anyone no fork?" or "one time, one time".. but no condemnation! i'm guilty of it too! grins.
it was quite disappointing when we went to pasir ris park and labrador park for our games only to have them cancelled due to the weather but i guess that's direct application of our camp theme--surrender. hope the campers managed to understand that? dunno... during last night's dinner at raffles hotel in celebration of xiang's bday, zheng zhi xiang and i were talking about the camp.. i guess we concluded that there were better camps before? but nevertheless i am sure that people did enjoy themselves during the games like water bombs and the game of Life. mmm. karder! haha
anyway, speaking of last night's dinner, it was fantastic! love the beef and lobster. and zheng was soooo nice. haha it was quite unexpected. i know you wont see this but really thanks for helping me take food! =) whenever i'm with them i feel like i'm part of them, in a way. like i really belong and i have siblings to care for, to watch out for and stuff like that. its rather heartwarming each time i think about it. yup.
anyway, right now before me is a restful but dreary week. bj left early this morning for his church camp in malaysia and will only be back on fri evening.. xuan's in australia having her exams, eileen and shi ying are working.. huey's in yet another camp. argh.. i feel like packing my stuff and staying over at bedok for the whole week.
