went for oasis concert last night.. it wasnt that good and was quite disappointing for my first rock concert.. oh wells. am waiting impatiently for coldplay's debut in singapore at who-knows-where-and-when. think they sound better on cds and albums. like chin said, it was difficult to connect.
finished watching smallville season one and its simply unbelievable how everything falls into place, the little nuances and subtle glances from time to time.. their acting is amazingly good. with a fantastic soundtrack to complement the various scenes, i declare that smallville is a must-watch.
there was this scene where about the whole of smallville were gathered to attend whitney's dad's funeral. rain was pouring down on the black umbrellas, tears trickling down from black eyes.. and this song by eva cassidy is played. the camera pans out to zoom in on lana and clark, whose eyes have met - so much to be said in their eyes, and so much left unsaid. it was beautiful.
mere words are insufficient to capture the beauty of that scene.
