some pictures for updates concerning my current events =)
this is esmond just before he enlisted into the army. i couldnt recognize him when we were supposed to meet at the gentry in the mrt station at first! it was quite funny, oh wells. yup. anw hope he's doing alright in the army =)
this is God's Hehes' and God's Hohos' when they were playing an ice breaker.
went out for dinner with derek today.. it is a superbly cool feeling to be driven around by someone who is of your age group! grins. in this car there was this really-interesting-yet-disgusting-nevertheless fascinating fake spider that dangles from his frontview mirror. it quite took my fancy, as you can see. hehs.
this was the quaint little place that he brought me to. its called BluJaz but due to his request, i shall not divulge details concerning its whereabouts. places like this are best kept low-key and under wraps, so as to prevent unnecessary hordes of people from flooding into a favourite quiet haunt. anw the decor was rather interesting, a fusion of different themes i suppose. the music also contributed to the cozy ambience of the cafe, and the food was good too! (once again, thanks derek!) i'll definitely go back again.
this lampshade is quite interesting.. the patterns are actually drawn on it. derek mentioned that the furnishings came from the design shop just beside this cafe. quite a cool concept! =) instant publicization.
on another hand, my mum bought me two pairs of footwear from novo last evening! one is a pair of off-white wedgies that i'll be wearing for the cny period, and she even bought me this pair of sandals that i can wear to school or church and not look sloppy! grins. my mum has good taste indeed.
