i am a fool.
i never knew that beneath that smile, was a multitude of tears.
i was deceived, or rather, i chose to blind myself to the sorrow you experienced within.
i left you feeling so alone, so utterly
alone, and did nothing to alleviate your pain in any way.
all i did was take, take, take, and i never once gave.
my resolutions towards you? forgotten as i hid them away in the dustiest closet, as i swept them under the neglected night light..
you shouldnt be the one saying sorry,
i should. and i really really really am.
