i'm back!
trip was good. =) alot of things happened but i guess i learnt much more this time as compared to the previous years. giving of oneself is really more satisfying than receiving.. and i think i managed to understand or know some people more than i thought i already knew.. like zheng for example. its funny how i went for so many holidays with him before but only get to know more of his character this trip with other people. i also managed to make better friends with the students there this time using my pathetic command of the chinese language as compared to other years.. will be sending them christmas cards! sad that i cant develop the photos to send them - long story.
anyway, about the trip.. i guess i also learnt how it is to lean on God and trust him really in all circumstances. and that plans that we fallible humans make are inconsequential in the great scheme of plans that God has. dunno what else but there's alot more and i'm lazy to say it here. heh.
quite tired still from the switch back to singapore.. yet still went out today. was struck by the difference between singapore and china.. really really different. sometimes its just quite sad, and unfair, the whole divide thing. yup. anyway, i think i managed to make two people happy today! grins. so i guess that made me happy too. heh.. =P
nothing really much to say.. just looking forward to wednesday night and thursday. =)
