i have finally finished with all my essays! thank you Lord. =) i guess now all i ask is that God will grant me favor with the tutors marking.. =S
got back my 19th cent essay already. oh wells. at least it wasnt a C? all i can content myself with is the fact that its the grade God had intended for me to get. possibly also at the rate i'm going, i will not be able to do honours. unless some miracle happens during my exam papers. reading gail's in-depth pc on my essay didnt do much help to boost my confidence about my proficiency in literature. for the first time in my life, i'm beginning to doubt the path i've chosen to take.
its less than two weeks to my exams. time for
mugging! and within 3 weeks, it shall be all all all over! (for a month, that is, but better than nothing!)
went out after school with bj and iraeneus today to watch sky high. it was quite a ridiculous, no-brainer movie but rather cute, in a way. yet all these movies that are bombarding the public with such cliche ideas of superhero-ism and fantasy seems to me to be coming on too thick.. perhaps i'm only disgruntled about the fact that there are many other areas to explore.. or i'm being influenced by my reading of Robyn Penrose in David Lodge's
Nice Work.
and oh! have i mentioned? I HAVE FINALLY FINISHED WITH GEORGE ELIOT'S MIDDLEMARCH! time for popping champagne and crackers! grins. i am at last free to move on to read my other texts for other modules. =) this is good.
