i cant believe the whole weekend has gone by! ack. another one more week and my school term is starting. sigh, this sucks.
haha oh wells.. mmm i was glad to see him happy on friday.. enjoying other people's company and talking to them.. no longer shutting himself out to the rest of the world. i'm so thankful that he has finally woken up from his own world and resolved himself never to relapse again. i only have the Lord God Almighty to thank, really.
saturday was a busy day - the day of darren's and lijia's wedding. goodness.. it was absolutely tremendous. i
almost came to tears even when they exchanged their vows. it was so touching. i just feel so happy for them! =) the whole hall was decorated quite nicely and the flower girls were so pretty - thanks to caron and serena and felicia. =) i was so afraid i'd blotch up the arrangements somehow. its certainly a wedding i wouldnt forget - the first couple of my peers to get married. whoa. heh grin.
but well i guess i was quite tired on saturday, all thanks to xiang.. she made me stay up and talk to her in her room on her queen sized bed about quite alot of things.. and she made me think about my life ever since primary 6.. just thought that it was one of the deepest talks i'd ever had in a long while. learnt a little more about her since that night as well - its funny. strange how you thought you knew so much about a person and yet sometimes you can still end up feeling a stranger. one of the many ironies of life huh?
sunday came and rolled by.. went to church today in the morning.. the sermon by daniel foo was quite good.. as usual. =) was especially touched by his altar call.. i wanted to go up too but i just thought that i've been there so many times and.. well. God knows my heart then anyway. my thoughts and my will to change. i may be going through a famine but i know God knows and i know He'll see me through, no matter what. met bj to watch csi at his place in the afternoon but both of us were so tired we were mostly just watching and hardly talking. but it was nice just having his company i guess (with his little brother of course)! haha
long stories and i am too lazy to elaborate.. this will do for now! =)
