i am SO happy now!
yuheng reformatted my computer this morning, but he left it pretty much naked and bare after that, with practically no programs whatsoever within. hence i had to borrow the fujitsu installation cds from feli, as i have misplaced mine somewhere, and painstakingly go through each cd! but i guess it pays off in the end; the insidious virus is gone and my computer is clean, for now. =)
i will
never accept any files on msn or email unless i am super duper sure that it is intended to be sent from a trustworthy person. i have learnt my lesson; thank goodness it happened before term really began if not i'd be in deep trouble.
i've only just realized that out of my 4-day week in school, i've 3 days whereby i have classes at an unearthly hour of 8am, meaning that i have to get up at 6.15am on those days. sigh i dont know why i'm killing myself this way! haha.. oh wells. i guess its good discipline and allows my days to end early.
had wwd this evening, felt a little weird with so little of us there. i mean, it started off this year with many of us but now lijia's married, angie just gave birth to a cute little baby boy yesterday (9th aug), and yew ling is too caught up with school stuff to come. time really flies huh. and things change so fast. anyway, wwd was good. i especially like the part where i learnt about the good and poor figs in jeremiah 24, and also about the blood of Jesus being the overcomer's blood against all kinds of sin, suffering, trials, pain and dieases. what's more, about the us, the gentiles, being part of God's covenant with Abraham because although we may not be Jews/Israelites by birth, we are God's people, God's descendants through Jesus.
the bible-study was rather heavy-duty and i would have enjoyed it all the more, had i not been so tired. but i couldnt help it because i had a lecture from 8 to 10am this morning with esther! it was good but i felt that too much time was wasted on introduction, and the lecturer didnt even touch the lecture notes she gave out to us for today's lecture. ahh well.
