the last 4 days and 3 nights were superbly hectic.
went for the vcf foc camp and it was good. i had a great time and i admit, i'm already starting to miss the atmosphere and people. one thing i dont miss though, is the weather. it was hot-killing, and thoroughly sweltering. yucks.
the camp speaker was good, at least it wasnt someone boring and stating the obvious but he had provided some insight into the Word of God in 2 corinthians and i like it. his messages made us think. especially that jeffrey la.
and i would like to give a great big shout out to all my camp group members : huilin, wenbin, sarah, jeffrey, samuel, ruth, james, seng wee, chien hua, mei si, and last but not least, jonathan!ok, i mean,
especially jonathan, for everything!
so many things happened, i cant just blog it all down but i must say i did enjoy myself better than i thought i would. having sarah and seng wee around helped me remember my jc days, wenbin reminded me eerily of huey ying because they both like to bully me in similar ways =) and they are both sporty! jeffrey was easy peasy, he was a natural-born leader and thus made jon's and my job easier. hahaha =P (the slacker, i am) huilin was so gentle, so so gentle, yes she's worse than charlene la. haha
and now, the splendid dinner i had last night.. thank you so much God's Hahas! they arranged a dinner for me at nydc and treated me to cake. i am so absolutely touched by their actions. like how they all combined money to get me a large tin of ovaltine?! haha and then later revealed the real present which was a $30 b.i.r.d voucher! plus on top of it all, presents from individuals! stef gave me a book and a really sweet magnet, huey ying and charlene gave me a super nice brown handbag!! ahhhhh! jamie gave me two fourskin racer-backs but they are too small! =( serena gave me a wallet and lip gloss.. i mean they all really didnt have to! but they did! i was really really touched.
thanks SO much guys!and i received an overwhelming number of wellwishing smses that my inbox was full many times! but i really really thank you all guys for remembering and caring enough to send me a msg. i'm so sorry if i had missed your bday anytime earlier this yr! (i have really short memory, i honestly do) but i'll try really hard from now onwards! i was really surprised by some people who smsed when i never expected them to! like
timmo! haha or aunty gimlan! and even jingmin, joanna, joy.. didnt know they even knew! or john tan from jc days! thank you, from the depths of my heart!
plus yi xuan especially for dropping by my house yesterday after school and just spending time with me on my bday. =) indeed you're one in a million and i really like the bracelet you got for me! its green, too! aaahh! ahha you really didnt have to come down, but you did. thanks so much girl..
gina, michele and charmaine for calling in the afternoon and singing me a happy bday song! i am super touched that you guys remembered k? haha i really really am! gosh, i find i DO miss you alot! ahhahahaha
and bj! for the blue necklace he bought.. it goes really nicely with the dress i got from zara canada. for not minding that i slept while he busied himself with watching naruto. hahaha not sure if his purpose of coming over was to spend time with me on my bday or to watch naruto! ahahha kidding dear! i know its both! wahaha. i finally got you hooked on it. grin.
ok i'm still very tired - suffering from the aftereffects of the camp. and i'm sorry if i missed anyone out of anything accidentally. i didnt mean to! just that my brain is a little laggy at the moment..
OH! how could i have forgotten!
welcome back felicia goh li ting! haha yup think that's about it for now.. sigh. happy times that i wish would never end.
