wow. it was an extremely long day for me yesterday. if you can call it a day.
i spent 32 hours awake at one go. and that's a tremendous achievement for me because previously i had never been able to last a night. guess its due to my jetlag.
movie marathon was fine i suppose.. it was my first time staying awake all the night. it would have been more enjoyable if not for the gastric pains i had initially. thank goodness it went away after supper. =) a big thanks to robyn, xiang and esp stef who took care of me! =) love you guys. oh! and thanks di for going, and accompanying me throughout!
went out for breakfast with a few people after that. bj smsed me and i decided to go to his place to shower and change. we went to watch batman begins and it was rather good indeed. i must say that christian bale
does make a good batman. tall and brooding, he does fit the bill fine. yet i dont know, i hesistate to say but i always imagined the beginnings of batman to be a tad darker, as the comics had always portrayed it to be.
bj and i walked around orchard before and after the show. went into two mango's and found myself nudged viciously at every turn, people pushing without a sense of graciousness. i mean, how painful can it be to them to say a word of "excuse me, please", or "sorry"? i miss canada. the people there are so much nicer, by tons.
oh anyway, i didnt buy a thing. haha. it was quite weird walking around seeing girls with bags full of things from the shop and i had nothing but oh well. couldnt find anything nice. so there! i'm not such a shopaholic as you people wrongly declare! grin.
and bj finally bought the issue of
Age of Apocalypse vol 1 from kinokuniya! i am so happy. think i'll buy vol 2, he vol 3 and i vol 4. it's only fair, isnt it? heh.
we came back home after that coz i was extremely tired and after showering, i went to bed and fell asleep promptly. bj sat by my bedside and read the x-men comic. little did i know that i slept so fitfullly i didnt realize he left and i even missed my dinner! yike. my grandma just scolded me for not waking up after their many calls. my, i dont even recall hearing them. i must have been exhausted.
and so, 12 hrs of sleep has just past me by and its only 5:46am. gee.
