whoo! it had been a long weekend indeed.
on friday i went wakeboarding as mentioned earlier in the previous entry and it was good! but terribly expensive.. and quite boring after a while waiting for your turn on the boat. but well.. it was rather worth the wait! i managed to get up twice! haha but dz was a natural la. think guys have an advantage coz they're stronger in their arms? dunno. i know i've really weak arms. haha.. wouldnt mind going again, but not anytime soon. my muscles are aching! haha mum commented that i'm super unfit. hahaha i cant deny that!
ok so on saturday, i met john for a nice nice lunch at suntec crystal jade. it started off badly at first, the day, when i quarrelled with
her and selfishly took it out on him.. sigghh but i guess he understood once he knew the whole picture.. =) it was a lovely lunch. after that he had to go off early to church so i left for church too and reached two hours early but thankfully serena was already there for her worship practice so i had some company.. grin. after service we went back to aunty ivy's house with dz's cell and had combined bbq.. the prawns that huey ying brought were execellent!! what can i say? it was succulent, every bite. and i found out that so many people CANT peel prawns. namely, claudia wong!! she's super funny la. kept poking at the orange stuff in the prawn and using a knife to dig it on, wincing at every piece that falls out in disgust.. and she had to be taught how to remove the shell la. ahhaha.. huey ying was another one! haha she kept insisting i peel for her.. its hilarious. next time they really have to find boyfriends who will peel the prawns willingly for them. heh..
sunday! cell group in the morning. it was rather unique in a sense, we started off with a really unique gel. calling in people like dominic and josephine to teach charlene how to do cartwheels in preparation for her physical test as a pe teacher this wed. haha it was quite funny just sitting there watching the scene unfolding. =) and then darren had a really unique way (sorry for the word-repetition, my vocab is failing me utterly) of conducting cell today.. i mean, its unique to me. while praying with charlene i almost even cried. guess there were some issues that really touched me. yeah..
we had lunch at pan pacific hotel, to celebrate deng zheng's birthday.. and then my mum brought us to do a little shopping for xiang and zheng. dz and elaine followed too. i left early to meet john for dinner.. but i was so tired that once i reached his house, i went to his bed and promptly fell asleep. hahhaa felt quite bad after that.. had a quick dinner at his place before his mum brought the whole family and i to thomson plaza for dessert at swensens. it was my first time out with them and it felt quite fun, and comfortable. it was hilarious watching iraeneus tackle a sirloin steak and david poking fun at his little bro. loved the earthquake ice cream we had! it was yumilicious and fattening. time to exercise, ting!
after dessert bj saw me home. it was a nice, heart-warming walk we took downstairs from the bus stop to my block. i love walking with him like that, under the night sky, talking, listening to him singing and just holding hands. =) i wished that moment then would never end.. its times like these i can never understand how i could have ever been so angry or frustrated with him, causing unnecessary pain between us. i dont know, but at any rate, it was plain lovely.
