if there is anything that is absolutely trying to one's patience, it is a bad day, topped off with bad weather. i left my house early this morning wanting to go to singapore safety driving centre at yio chu kang and it was not raining heavily then, skies were still bright and only a soft drizzle came down. (i'm trying to justify why i didnt bring an umbrella - many times today i've lamented upon that) upon reaching yio chu kang, the rain was heavier but still tolerable during the 600m walk to the centre.
so i happily went there, attended a 20 min briefing on the practical lessons before going down to the counters to sign up for the subjects and eventually the practical driving tests. but there was this physical impairment section i had to fill up.. and the lady in charge told me that i had to give them a letter from my doctors proving that i'm fit to drive. sigh. but i must say that the lady was very nice and kind.. if only there were more people around like her? yeah.. more sensitive and understanding i guess.
after all that delay i hopped into a cab as i had to meet darren and dz in bedok for lunch.. and i realized i wasted my money doing so coz they were both rather late. it was still pouring cats and dogs.. and my new pumps got all wet.. what's worse was that the back kept cutting into my heel. worse still! i realized in the cab that i forgot to do what i wanted to do at the driving centre in the first place - get my provisional driving license. argghh. so after the lunch i took mrt all the way back to that silly place and finally applied for the silly green piece of paper. grr. my feet was killing me all the way.. i should have known better than to wear that when it is so unseasoned. i've practically walked over 2.4km today! haha..
oh well. but bad days happen for a reason. and i guess its not so bad now that i'm finally in the comfort of my home and resting.. and looking forward very much to wakeboarding tomorrow! too bad charlene cant come.. but i've asked shi ying to join us! =) am praying very very hard that it wouldnt rain tomorrow so we can enjoy our time wakeboarding! grin. pls pray for us too! thanks!
