went for ocs commissioning dinner on sunday.. was quite impressive. the newly appointed officers' marching and synchronized reactions to the commands were fantastic. they must have trained really hard for it. am rather thankful to zhixian for inviting bj and i there. saw joel and caron and family.. oh ron! i managed to upload the pics into my com and they turned out ok, just a little blur. will send it to u soon-est. okie? =)
had a long day of sch yesterday.. with meetings and make-up lectures. sigh. today's yet another long day and i'm far behind my lecture preparations. i'm so not up-to-date with my studies. i really need to mug as and when i'm free to. yikez.
was totally charmed by my southeast asian lecturer last night. upright posture - so so straight and proper. lovely US accent to listen to.. (though not as lovely as hugh grant's british wahaha).. and to top it off, he was immaculately dressed in suit, tie and long sleeved shirt inside a blazer. its like whoa! haha.. best thing yet, everytime when he speaks, he's smiling.. and he has got this rather dry humor that's so appealing. gah. interesting lecturer. =)
another interesting incident to note. went for my first psychology tutorial yesterday and the tutor told us to introduce ourselves with our names, a metaphor that best describes ourselves and to pick up a piece of paper from a bag and answer whatever is written on that sheet. so this girl.. she got the question, "if you choose whoever you want to be right now, who would you choose?" she read the question out, and paused for a while, thinking. after some time, she said, "i know this might sound bimbotic but i want to be paris hilton." i was like..... argh!!! and the tutor asked her why and she said, "oh i dont mind doing some of the stuff she does." and my teacher asked, "what kind of stuff?". so she gave this reall y stunning answer that whacked the wind out of me for a few seconds - "some sexual shows." *pause* everyone in class just stared openmouthed at her. my tutor? he quickly went on to the next person. it could have been hilarious if not for the obvious sad fact that she's so.. far from the love of God. oh well.
anyway cant wait for today to finally be over. at least tomorrow i've only one lesson. oh well. hope that i will be able to go down to the tennis courts and see steffy play tennis for once. *grin*
