spent just about the whole day at home.. its lovely just slacking. haha.. argh. just sorted out my lecture notes and readings into neat piles (on top of my old-old-old-already-high piles). am going to read my comic book-cum-textbook later.. its really cool. anyway, later during bsf will get two more books for my reading - one film from feli and timothy's marketing text.. gee.
changed my blog template last night.. found this and its really neat. decided to put Travis' "Why Does It Always Rain On Me" lyrics there coz its just so apt. haha.. too bad the monsoon season is almost past so it doesnt really apply literally as well.
kinda glad that i could spend the whole day at home today. was supposed to meet shiying for a swim this morning but mum didnt want me to travel all the way down to jurong east just to swim. she would rather sy come down to tp central swimming complex since i went all the way down last time. and when i asked sy to come, she didnt want to. oh well. i was willing and she isnt. speaks alot. but i dont care anymore. its nice staying at home sometimes. haha but i got too restless and went downstairs for a haircut. just layering. seems like my plans for perming is further pushed down the road. argh! why does hair take so long to grow? grr..
oh! and i really need to give thanksgiving to God. was struggling all week to get 5 modules in the bidding process. managed to get 4 and just ONE left. however, i bidded for like 4 to 5 days and couldnt get the fifth module. but yesterday, God was just SO good. although there were 2 vacancies left for this particular module, he allowed me to have an opportunity to monitor the bidding at mum's office (where the internet connection is awesome!).. and pushed the number of bidders all the way down to two when there were 6 bidders at first! and initially i had placed all the points i had in my general a/c for that ss module (all 650 points) and by the time the bidding round closed, i only had to place 50! and since because there are 2 vacancies and 2 bidders only, we were only "charged" 1 point!! i was soOOOoooOOoo happy! finally got my 5 modules. *grin* and my general a/c points are more or less intact. lalala.
so, the modules i'm taking this sem:
psychology (which mum protested against) =S
intro to theatre and drama (where the lecturer is a china man with the weirdest accent ever)
southeast asia: a changing region
entrepreneurial marketing
reading film and cultural texts (this is supposed to be lit. gah!)
so there, guys! do pray for me okie! that i'll do well this sem and not screw it up like i did the previous semester. thanks!
