today was a good day i must say =)
managed to talk to bj!!!!!! for like ten minutes? so so happy!!! (sigh of happiness) he called much earlier than expected.. and.. sigh. just cant wait for him to come out!
met shi ying in the library but she was barely there haha.. she came late.. then photocopied some stuff for me, came back and went off almost immediately to eat lunch with ann haha.. but oh well.. i had to go off too coz i wanted to hand in the film and history essay.. (yes feli, i've handed yours up too, no worries!) left her a packet drink of ribena when i went off and she was so touched! *grinz* didnt expect my little gesture to "make her day", as she said.
came home to study but didnt really do much.. only south asian.. in preparation for my term paper.. managed to catch up on my sleep!! i slept in the afternoon at a solid one and a half hours! i could have slept more la but oh well, forced myself to get up to mug.. i'm not such a pig after all. hehz
called him today and he picked up!!!! thank You Lord.. well.. we talked and everything was so good.. so so good.. he sounded well and coherent.. indeed, this is with God's blessings. =)
and i've a little miracle that happened to me today, it doesnt seem like much but it means alot to me.. when i was coming home today.. i was feeling sore about carrying such heavy stuff from campus back home to wash.. and when i dropped off the bus stop near my home (it'll take about 5 to 10 min to reach my house from there), i saw dark clouds above me.. but surprisingly i didnt really think much of them.. they didnt appear so threatening. i even took my time to walk home.. walk walk walk.. reached home, set down my bag, picked up the phone to call aunty susan and then! i heard thunder and heavy rain! i was astounded, flung my windows open to check if i heard right.. and lo and behold, the rain was pouring down! i was so thankful to God! and when i went to shower, i was just thinking how wonderful God is.. that he knew i didnt have an umbrella and it would be disasterous if i was caught in the rain coz i was carrying my laptop and stuff.. that out of the whole huge universe, he was keeping an eye on me.. a small little girl.. on her way home. its just sooo.. amazing. people may call it coincidence, but my heart tells me otherwise. i know it was divine intervention. =) praise the Lord!
