people are talking so much about change.. maybe i just want to quote this in reply:
"the only thing constant in this world is change."
(yes, other than God's love and grace.)
i used to be puzzled at such a phrase. i remember when i first heard about it, i was like, "huh?" haha back then i was too young, too unworldly. i didnt know anything. i merely thought it might be some funny ironic thing that someone came up with. i didnt think it'd be a paradox.
there's alot of hurt involved in change. and there's alot of pain. you cant have it one way. its not that any of us chose change to happen, it just did. it wasnt on purpose. if we could, i'm sure all of us would want change to stop, for things to stand still and be what they used to be at some point of our lives. but apparently it isnt so. we've to let go. and make the best of what we have...
honestly, i just want to tell you that i would love things to be the way they were a few years ago... where we were all but laughing, playing in the sun, casting all cares to the wind. but that was then and now is now. whether we like it or not, things have changed. but feelings havent. you still have a cherished place in my heart, my dear friend, and i hope that you'll just trust me.. and believe me when i say i dont want things to be this way either. although we might not be close physically.. i also hope you realize that i want to be there when you need someone and that you wont hesistate ever, to call when you have to talk.
watched this Bruce Lee show today for film and history.. "Fist Of Fury" or otherwise known as "The Chinese Connection". though i dont exactly understand why the Americans named it the latter. feli, help? haha.. anyway, the show was... the WORST SHOW I'VE EVER SEEN! no offence to bruce lee lovers but.. yeah. the movie was horrendously dubbed in english and bruce lee had such contorted expressions.. like once he was supposed to put on this lovelorn expression.. but what came out was this sian look!!! hahahaha.. oh man.. its priceless. yikez. i've enough of bruce lee.. i'll just stick to my fav kung fu shows - wong fei hong starring jet li. haha eye candy.. blah.
