it was a long day today...
went to nus for breakfast with shi ying and yu hui... then attended my first lecture in the entire year - economics. my goodness. if i didnt have econs as an a level subject, i would have just died there. the lecturer ran through all the economic terms without proper explanation as they did in jc... like she only briefly mentioned negative and positive externality but without explaining what they are. gosh, its really time to read up on my notes again.
after that i sort of made a futile trip to the registrar's office... apparently my matriculation card is still not ready. argh.
went to the dermatologist after that... waited like twenty mintues for my turn... maybe even longer. the charges were astounding. its practically daylight robbery!! but i think i might have to take a hepatits jab again... coz dont know what, my antibody is rather low.
took a bus to john's house when i was done at the clinic and then we went to united square pizza hut for late lunch (it was like 3.20pm when we sat down to eat). it was his treat! =) haiz i really owe him la... then we went for movie at balestier shaw plaza "The Village". quite an ok show... graphics wise it isnt that fantastic though it has suspense but it does make one think. the things people do to shut themselves out from the rest of the world... the cruelty and harshness of society... the way they allow the imagination to run wild and live life as a lie. just to protect those they love. is it right or wrong? the show demonstrated various kinds of love... insanely possessive and irrational love, pure trusting determined love and love that yearns to protect, no matter the cost. *lapses into thought*
ate dinner at bj's house again... listened to him play guitar before leaving for home... quite a good day... hope tml will be almost as good. alot of things will be happening tml. sigh, i just cant get for monday.
