havent been updating my blog as often as i'd like to... its kinda dead now dont you think? =) heh oh well. alot of things have happened the past few days. namely, i've been fired in humilation from my job for something that i was unjustly and wrongly accused of. argh. everyone note this. NEVER EVER LET ANY OF YOUR FRIENDS OR YOU YOUSELF WORK IN THE SCENT SHOP, THE LAVENDER SHOP, THE SOAP SHOP, INNERPEACE... or anything to do with Euro Classic. why? i'll tell you.
firstly the cash float problem. if you all have been reading my blog, you'll know what i'm talking about... *sigh* that incident already sucked $11 out of my pocket. now, on saturday, when yvonne and i were working together in the shop, after she finished keying in the transaction for the customer, the cash register started emitting this high pitched sound. so we knew that there was something wrong with the machine for nothing can be pressed. yvonne then started fiddling with the interior make of the box for i really didnt know what to do... and then she began pulling out the ink roll and her hands were all stained with the ink. however the ink roll was jammed into the machine so she asked john, who dropped by in the shop, to help us pull it out - which he did of course. by then, it was determined that the stupid machine was beyond repair and she reported it to our boss, mrs see.
so they decided to get a technician to deal with the matter. i tendered my resignation on tuesday coz i was really fed up with everything that was happening in the shop, first cash float problem, then this stupid register and a lousy boss who expects me to skip church for work. no way! then that woman called me and told me she received my letter and that she suspects the reason why i'm resigning is because i'm trying to run away from the shop as i spoiled the dumb machine. wah! like cmon la!! what absolute crap was that?! she doesnt even have any proof at all! and she even blamed john! (guess yvonne told on me, great colleague i have.) what's more, she threatened to deduct the cost of repairing the machine ($157.50 in total!) from my pay! i was freaking mad, i told her i didnt want to talk to her anymore and passed the phone to someone else. i mean its like... i'm really innocent! i didnt spoil that damn machine but she wouldnt listen! and now i dont even know if i can get my pay! my mum says that they are crooks, they probably have no intention of even paying me my $872.20 salary! what the.... arGH!
listen guys, really dont work there. mr and mrs see are really crooks. they even lied to my mum. when she called them back to demand why are they doing this to me, they "innocently" claimed that they didnt say once that they would dock my pay. what rubbish! and not only that, mr see outrageously lied to my mother that it was HE who talked to me, not his wife! i mean its like, cmon i talked to that woman for so long, obviously i can tell if its a female or a male voice! unless you're trying to say that that man has a feminine voice la! i'm hopping mad... really so mad!
there's more to come. i have friends from other branches who worked there for 4 to 5 months already. when they recently checked their CPF statement, they discovered that mrs see hadnot deposited any money at all into their CPF a/c! that's like about a thousand over dollars we're talking about here! this company is really crooked. they are unscrupulous, without any trace of conscience in their cold hearts. never knew that such pple like them exist. its really... so frustrating. i really dont know what to do next, really. sigh.
sigh. but i guess God allowed this to happen for a reason. probably its to teach me the value of money, how painful it is. if you all know me, you should know that i have this tendency to shop alot... spend money on clothes and items that i dont really need. i guess i really need to restrain myself from now onwards and heed what God's trying to tell me using this drastic measure. yupz. oh well.
lets just see what happens next. for its not me who takes revenge, but the Lord God Almighty who will ensure justice is done on earth.
