sometimes it seems the days are going by so slowly... and yet... one day you realize that time really has flown past you... and you're left with nothing but memories...
many things happened today...
i was working at compass point today... was covering up for someone who went to collect her o level results today... the customers there were more friendly... and most of them spoke english! *haha* much better compared to those customers i get in j8... oh well... but the pple working there really suck... when you smile at them you only get a sullen expression in reply... i mean its like... they're arent even nice to talk to! they just give you this look as though... i dont know how to put it... how infuriating... then the phone kept ringing off its hook... this jacqueline from hougang mall scent shop kept calling to ask about the sales, ask about whether i'm encountering any problems... LOOK... i'm doing FINE there... gosh what on earth did she want!? made me really so fed up k... then lihui and i kept calling each other... haha coz we were like so bored at our respective venues... missed her at work today! heh... she's really someone who i can laugh and joke with - unlike those stony faced pple there... yikez.
speaking of o level results... called leon and esmond today and they got 11 and 10 respectively... really smarty pants man! haha... am so proud of them~! =) congrats my dear brothers! and also, today when i was closing the shop to go out and buy lunch... guess who i saw running towards me?? shafinah and elin!! my two dearest colleagues from noel! =) had lunch with them... apparently they were rushing to go get their results as well... saw them for the first time in their sch uniform... hahaha so cute! saw leong shen - he was with them too... *heh* really missed them alot man... zhi liang too... saw him briefly on v-day at cinleisure...
went out for dinner with the babe today... was a good time catching up after not meeting for like... hmmm 3 wks? heh... we went all around city hall area... marina square, suntec, citylink, esplanade, millenia walk... you name it! no wonder my feet are rather sore now... was pretty 'high' at one point - really missed her antics that can make me crack in laughter... golly... can barely remember when i laughed as hard as tonight when i was with her...
we also spent some time sitting by the suntec fountain... (although there was no water or lights or anything that makes it a fountain) heh... just talking, stoning and sighing about life... its been a long long time since i done that with a close friend... =) usually used to do that with yi xuan... oh well. hardly get to see her these days anyway. nothing much really to say about that.
as i was walking home, i happened to meet sau kit... heh guys, you remember him? andrew? wilson? leon? hehz... yupz... he was going into the macs downstairs my house... guess for some midnight snack or what haha... he looks pretty much the same... yet i took some time before recognizing him and waving back... haha...
also almost saw benny today... apparently he walked past me and i didnt even realize coz i was so blur and tired... and shi ying was talking and talking... haha... so he smsed me that he just saw me and stuffz... and i called him back and we talked for a while... =) it felt so good seeing and hearing my old friends again... its like... whoa... nostalgia hits.
okok really cannot take it anymore liao... too tired to think more about what occurred today... hehz... oh yeah! i bought the norah jones Feeling Like Home cd... and yeah eunice... i absolutely agree with you that the mtv is really quite... weird. haha.....
sigh am just missing someone now... as i looked up at the skies when i was at esplanade area earlier on and saw all the stars up there sparkling against the black sky... somehow i was comforted by the fact that he is probably somewhere out there too underneath the same big sky... looking at the same stars i was looking at too... reminds me of a song that i love... my all-time favorite...
